Marble forms when limestone or dolomite recrystallises under heat and pressure. This gives it its characteristic veining and the ability to take a fine polish.

It comes in many colours – white, beige, grey, black, pink and green – and every slab is unique.

Marble is used for floors, walls, stairs, bathrooms, kitchen counters and decorative pieces.
